This is a prequel short story to the "The Birth of Vengeance," and the the forth coming sequel, "The Truth of Vengeance."

This short story is a prequel to the "The Birth of Vengeance," and the beginning of a vampire series of books.
It is set a couple of years before the events in the 1st book and gives an insight in the lives of the two main characters, Jon and Thorn.
Some of the characters appearing in this short story prequel will make their appearance properly in the sequel, "The Truth of Vengeance (Vampire Formula#2)"
